Festivals and fairs offer valuable opportunities to make connections, exchange ideas, and build networks. Whether at Performing Arts Market Seoul, Supermarket Art Fair, or Berlinale – major industry gatherings in Germany and around the world provide a wide range of opportunities for visibility and networking.
“How to … navigate through (international) festivals & fairs” is aimed at professionals in the performing arts, visual arts, film, and media. It offers practical guidance on how to prepare effectively, follow up strategically, and turn attending an event into a rewarding experience:
Participants receive and exchange practical tips on how to prepare for large-scale events, navigate them successfully, and present their artistic work with confidence. Topics range from scheduling appointments and reaching out to contacts, to questions about suitable presentation materials, informal rules, and on-site networking opportunities, as well as sustainable follow-up after the event.
In addition to input from our speakers and exchange in sector-specific breakout rooms, the event provides space for exchange with artists and producers from various disciplines and invites participants to inspire one another through ideas and shared experiences.

"How to ... pitch?!"
With: Godlive Lawani | Stane Performing Arts Management
Networking events such as industry meetups, festivals, and conferences offer great opportunities to make connections, build networks, and initiate collaborations. Yet the same challenge arises again and again: how can one communicate their own artistic work clearly, concisely, and convincingly?
In this workshop, we will focus entirely on the topic “How to … pitch?!”
Godlive Lawani will share her experiences and most important tips, and all participants are invited to present their work and projects and practice pitching in small groups. How do I find the right language? What is truly essential? And how can I gain more confidence in presenting my work—whether in formal presentations or in informal conversations?
The workshop is aimed at practitioners from the performing arts, visual arts, and film/media. This creates an interdisciplinary exchange that encourages learning from one another and opens up new perspectives on how to present one’s own work.

CCCberlin x A MAZE. Residency
Our 2.5-day residency provides an opportunity for artistic experimentation and interdisciplinary collaboration. In April, 15 artists come together to work, experiment, collaborate and deliberately fail. The focus is on exploring the body, space, image and digital technology, and making use of the B-Dome's immersive 360° dome. The resulting works and processes will be presented on the third day in an open showing.
You are warmly invited to meet the artists and discover the results and the B-dome.
